Project: Rock Saw Upgrade

Purpose: This saw is a water-lubricated slab saw that is used to cut rock specimens for the purposes of better showing their interior structures and/or as a prelude to further preparation for chemical analysis.



IL Comment: The user came to the IL concerned about the safety of the equipment. IL designed and upgraded the interlock circuitry to make the saw safer for user operation.
